Whether it’s a traumatic life experience or a failed business venture, I represent all those who have come out even better than before. My mission is to lead those who have a definite purpose and a never-give-up attitude to success.

I’m Peter Schmitz and I know what it’s like to have your best efforts end up in bankruptcy and the worst event of your life be the thing that propels you to greater success. You can read more of my personal story here.

Challenges can bring out the best in us—revealing talents and strengths we didn’t even know we had. I’ve seen disabled athletes display that attitude of overcoming tremendous obstacles and it’s inspired me, as a Para-triathlete myself, to reach beyond perceived limitations. In my business, I pass on what I’ve learned about overcoming obstacles in career and life.

With over 40 years in the direct marketing industry, I’ve actually done the things I recommend—successfully, over and over. Experience working for leading Fortune 500 companies, such as Oracle and Donnelly Marketing, and consulting with clients such as Sprint, Goodyear Tire, and AAA has given me hands-on skills in the best practices in marketing and branding. Leading teams that designed processes for customer contact, acquisition and retention, we consistently got results, improving ROI for a 100-store specialty retailer by 20% and delivering over $2 million in annual revenue for Sprint’s telemarketing center.

In 2007, I started my internet marketing business, selling supplements online and at retail locations. Four short years later, CL Nutrition was a million-dollar business with 40+ locations before a lease dispute forced me into bankruptcy.

That bankruptcy experience tells you that I understand stress, problems, and being overwhelmed. I also know the way out.

I have an MS, Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago and I am certified as a Frank Kern Business Consultant.

Over the course of a lengthy corporate sales and marketing career, I acquired significant expertise with direct response marketing, email marketing, analytics and customer databases. I can get down in the weeds with response and conversion data to find what’s working and what is not. Then, I’ll help you grow a profitable business.
